Hi i am leonhard Katschner and I run Brave Type.
I have an education as digital media designer and I am a freelance type designer.
I make my fonts with a lot of passion and I try to give every typeface its own voice & character
and put my own style in it.
Brave is the key word here as I am producing fonts that want to be brave and look different
than what exists already.
I was born in berlin and I still live in Berlin since 1988. It is a fabulous city and I can recommend
it to everyone. Here I live in a cosy flat with my dear wife and my amazing daughter.
In my freetime I like to visualize my fonts with Blender, Photoshop and Animate.
Also I walk around Berlin with my little family, discovering new sites, lakes & playing grounds.
